This replaced an Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350 1080p Projector and old/cheap 90" screen (replaced with black series 100" ALR screen). It's in the basement which has a few windows but is very light controlled and this thing is BRIGHT! And the picture is AMAZING. Everything is so clear. It's currently sitting on top of my original AV furniture which is too tall, so I'm not getting the full 100" image, but it's centered and perfect for now. If I'm able to modify the current furniture or build something new, I'll dial it in 100% to fit the frame at another time. I've watched my first ever 3D movie (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1) and it's really neat. I don't think I'd want to always watch things in 3D but it's cool once in a while. My center channel speaker is sitting directly in front of the projector which is blocking the IR port on the projector. I bought a cheap IR extender and that fixed the problem instantly.
