It’s discrete and almost silent.
Produces nice, sharp, and immersive picture.
It’s lifestyle projector so doesn’t have lens shift or optical zoom.
From the 3m it delivers 100” very good quality picture.
It’s intended for Chinese market so I use Amazon Fire TV 4K Max and it boots automatically to HDMI input where stick is connected to.
It has almost no offset. It’s intended to be placed on stand or coffee table but it may be also ceiling mounted if needed.
Two annoyances I have identified so far:
- Remote control doesn’t have dedicated button for input selection
- I can’t use my Logitech companion with Logitech hub to control it
I’m very pleased with this product and with the service from Nothingprojector.
Coming from the mini and brillant Formovie S5 I wanted an upgrade for 4K and some day use.
After testing some other contendants, including UST, which disappointed me, I am fully satisfied with the X5
- Almost silent
- Very bright with good contrast
- Accurate colour for skin tone etc
- Comfortable viewing ( not like 3 lasers.. )
- Works great even with ust black ALR screen in worst light scenario, see picture ( bright mode: day )
- Excellent and stable focus, no need to focus during the projection
- Low consumption, 90W in night mode which is enough for controlled environment
- Perfect with external Android TV key / box / source
- Boot quickly and directly on hdmi ( see setting, device linkage )
- Excellent sound quality
I only whished ARC / speaker sound outputs could be automatic and not a hard setting. Other brands can switch from AV to internal speaker depending if AV receiver is on or off.

This is one of the best projectors I have ever owned! The picture is perfect and it has all the features you need to have an awesome movie night no matter where you point it!
